Legend has it that the sea once used to spread to the Petrified Forest. These days one keeps on talking about the love healing water of this area. The natural phenomenon resembling a petrified forest represents an ensemble of rock groups and columns of hollow or solid cylinders whose height reaches 10 meters. Different shapes and sizes of stone fragments and boulders are spread all over the complex on an area of 7 sq. km. One can reach the Petrified Forest from villa Elma just for 20 minutes on the Hemus highway.
